SWAR emergency communications system

The SWAR-2EX rescue communication system is used to ensure communication in the mine workings during rescue operations.

Communication between the manager of the rescue operation underground and the rescue teams is carried out via a radio network. However, communication between the rescue operation manager underground and the rescue operation manager on the surface is carried out by wire through: the SAT system’s switched teletransmission line, the company-wide switchboard, or a dedicated line for the SWAR-2EX system.
